On March 11, the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the Covid-19 a global pandemic.
Your health and safety is our topmost priority. We are monitoring the situation closely as it changes daily. We may change our policy as and when the Australian Government updates their advice.
We highly recommend all our guests to follow the travel guidelines outlined by the World Health Organisation and advice from Australian government on the Department of Health website. If you are returning from overseas, please be socially responsible and self-isolate at home for at least 14 days. If you are unwell, avoid travelling and stay home.
Here’s what Tiny Away is doing as part of our Covid-19 policy :
Our tiny houses are all located in the suburbs and are self contained. Besides your hosts, you will have minimal interaction with anyone else. Your hosts will try to keep their distance during this period of time and leave you at peace in your private space. Where possible, you may self check-in.
Your hosts will continue to maintain the cleanliness of the tiny houses, including cleaning and disinfecting after each guest checks out.
For overseas guests who are unable to travel to Australia as a result of the travel ban, you can cancel and get a full refund.
For guests who live in Australia, we encourage you to first consider postponing your trip rather than cancelling, so as to minimise the impact on your hosts. This is because for each booking made, your hosts will also receive rental income. So for every booking cancelled, they will experience a loss of income.
If you have an upcoming booking and you are feeling unwell or are affected by Covid-19, please let us know. We will provide you with a voucher that you can use to stay at any of our tiny houses within the next 12 months.
Please contact us at email@example.com if any part of this policy is unclear or you need any assistance.
Stay strong and healthy!
from the Team at Tiny Away
