Hollow Mountain Getaway 2 by Tiny Away is located in the stunning countryside of Laharum, Western Victoria. Here our pet-friendly tiny house is only 19 minutes from the nearest town Horsham and 15-minute drive from Grampians National Park. Explore the nearby wonders of MacKenzie Falls, The Pinnacle, Boroka Lookout, and Mount Zero, all waiting to inspire your sense of adventure amidst nature’s beauty.
This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home offers stunning views of the rolling Pyrenees Hills. It features split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and a bathroom equipped with a flushing toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home,"Hollow Mountain Getaway 1," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

Guests will have access to the tiny house and are free to roam the 32 acres. What's more, we're just an hour's drive from Ballarat, passing through the charming towns of Stawell, Ararat, and Beaufort.
- Tap water is drinkable - Gas and charcoal BBQ Grill is available - Pets allowed are allowed by prior notice - Mobile phone reception has a good signal - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Please keep out of fenced private property area - No open fires and BBQ grills allowed during fire season - No smoking allowed inside or anywhere outside the tiny home - Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings - Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests - Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent before arrival - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge Important note: - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present.   - Firewood: 20kg bag available for $25. Please contact the host and pre-pay in advance so it can be prepared for your stay.

This was honestly one of the best tiny houses I’ve ever stayed at. The surroundings, the fire pit setup, and especially the bath made the whole experience feel so special. It’s perfect if you love nature, being outdoors and completely switching off for a few days. I also loved how much space there is between each tiny house because you still feel really private and don’t really see the neighbours. The house itself was super cosy and comfortable. I think a few little touches inside could make it feel even more warm and premium though — things like nicer cutlery/glasses/mugs, more rustic or retro appliances, maybe a vase with flowers, a clock or little shelves/plants for decoration. Also, I noticed another tiny house is featured first on the website, but honestly I think this one should be at the top because the bath really makes the experience stand out and feel extra special ❤️

The property was clean, peaceful, and very well prepared when we arrived. The host and property manager were both excellent and made sure everything was ready for a comfortable stay. It was a lovely touch that tea, coffee, and sugar were complimentary, and the kitchen had appliances and cooking oil available, which made it easy to prepare meals. The bathroom was also well stocked with soap and shampoo, and it was great to have a proper flush toilet. One of the highlights was the surroundings, kangaroos can often be seen around the property, which adds to the experience of being in nature. On clear nights, the Milky Way is visible, which made the stay even more special. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing getaway. One small suggestion would be to have a coal shovel available at the fire pit and possibly a bug zapper to help with insects at night. Otherwise, everything was excellent and we would happily stay again.
