Far from the city noise, Stillwater Retreat by Tiny Away in Chesney Vale offers a peaceful rural setting with open farmland and close proximity to nature reserves, making it an ideal spot for birdwatching, stargazing, and unwinding in a tranquil environment. What's more, our pet-friendly tiny house is just 28 minutes from Wangaratta and overlooks the peaceful Winton Wetlands, offering a relaxing countryside escape.

Beyond the property, there’s plenty to explore—Winton Raceway is just 20 km away, while the King Valley (“Little Italy”) is perfect for wineries and local food. For outdoor fun, Lake Mulwala and Lake Nillahcootie are nearby, and in winter, Mount Hotham’s snowfields are within easy reach. Alternatively, unwind in Benalla, the “Rose City,” known for its beautiful gardens and family-friendly spaces.

This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home comes with easy access to water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and full bathroom facilities. These amenities include a flushing toilet, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower—ensuring you have more comfortable and relaxing holiday homes to enjoy.

Guests can access the tiny home and its surroundings. Advisory: - The tiny house is located in a rural setting approximately 25 km from the nearest town. Guests are encouraged to plan ahead and bring any essentials, as shops, restaurants, and other services require a short drive.
- Gas BBQ is available - Free drinking water at no extra cost - Mobile phone reception has good signal - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - No smoking inside the tiny home, except in designated areas - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - Pets are limited to (1) one pet per cabin, and must be on leash at all times. Please inform the host 24 hrs prior. The full policy will be sent before arrival. Important note: - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the flushing toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
